Privacy Policy

A quick note

We’re a framing and rough carpentry contractor, not a tech company. Like any professional business with a website, we publish this policy because it’s standard practice, and because California asks websites with a contact form to explain how that information is handled. We don’t hide behind confusing language or fine print: we use the information you send us only for your request and your project, including follow-ups and the records the law requires, and we never sell it.

OC Renovation Group, Inc. (“OC Renovation Group,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through ocrenovationgroup.com and when you contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

OC Renovation Group, Inc.
California Contractor License (CSLB) #1071754
1533 Baker Street Ste 2, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
Privacy questions: ocrginc@gmail.com

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, call, or text us, we collect what you choose to share, which may include:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number and email address
  • Your project address or city
  • Details about your project, and any photos or files you upload

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our web host automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. This is used to run, secure, and troubleshoot the website. Our quote form also saves the date, time, and IP address of each submission, which helps us filter out spam. We don’t use this information to identify you or track your location. Our site also takes anonymous page-speed measurements (for example, screen size and which images load first) to help pages load faster. These measurements do not identify you.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your request, prepare estimates, and schedule visits
  • To perform and manage work you hire us for, including permits and inspections when required
  • To communicate with you about your project by phone, text, or email
  • To follow up on your request and, after your project, to ask about your experience or invite you to leave a review
  • To keep business records and comply with legal obligations
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website

4. Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your request or project, including follow-ups and an occasional request to review our work. We do not send marketing text messages without your permission. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying STOP or by telling us directly. Message and data rates may apply.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only as needed with:

  • Systems that help us run our business, such as our website host and email.
  • Project partners, such as suppliers, subcontractors, or building departments, when needed to complete work you hire us for.
  • Legal authorities, when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

6. Cookies and third-party content

Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels (such as the Meta/Facebook pixel), session recording, chatbots, or call-tracking tools, and it does not place cookies on your device to track you.

Some pages show content provided by other companies, which may receive your IP address and browser information when the page loads:

  • Google Maps, the embedded map showing our location and service area
  • Trustindex, which displays our Google reviews

These companies may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites, under their own privacy policies. We do not control that collection. Our website also links to other websites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

7. Do Not Track signals

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because we do not track visitors across websites, our website does not change its behavior in response to these signals. Third-party content described in Section 6 may handle these signals differently.

8. How long we keep information

We keep quote requests and messages as long as needed to respond and follow up. If you hire us, we keep project records, such as contracts, plans, photos, and correspondence, as long as needed for warranty, business, and legal purposes. We periodically review the information we keep and delete what we no longer need.

9. How we protect information

Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to submitted information is limited to people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you by emailing ocrginc@gmail.com. Please include your name and the phone number or email address you used with us so we can find your information. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep certain information when the law requires it, for example records of work we performed.

11. Children

Our website is for adults seeking construction services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change significantly affects how we use information you already gave us, we will note it at the top of this page.

13. Contact us

All questions and requests about this policy or your personal information must be sent by email to ocrginc@gmail.com. We handle privacy matters in writing so we can respond accurately and keep a record of your request.
